PATENT PENDING FOR BREAKTHROUGH TECHNOLOGY

Norwegian Technology AS has received a positive assessment from the Patent Authorities for its Patent for Drill Cuttings Treatment Technology.

Norwegian Technology AS are commercializing an “all integrated offshore drilling waste treatment solution”. The technology involves treatment of slop water with a compact Water Treatment Unit designed by Norwegian Technology AS, and separation of oily sludge and oil-based mud with company’s proprietary destabilisation chemicals. These technologies are taken into use internationally by the Oil and Gas industry.

Now the “last piece of the puzzle is in place”. Norwegian Technology AS was awarded a patent on its game changing technology that can allow treatment of drill cuttings “on the fly” from the shale shakers with no need for storage on the rig.

This technology allows all wastewater, mud and cuttings to be treated onsite, and safely dispose it back to the seabed with no pollution.
